My sisters baby shower was this week and we took a trip to surprise her. 6 hours of driving and about a million bridges. . . later we arrived in Slidell for her shower and we were already looking forward to exploring. We celebrated the baby shower with my sister and her husband's side of the family.
We went back to our Airbnb for the night, which was a really old house near the heart of New Orleans. We had a great experience with Doordash and then a horrid experience with a restaurants website.
The next morning we had coffee in our Airbnb (save money on your stay ) and got ready to leave for the day. It was so much fun walking through the french quarter and exploring the art and music that New Orleans had to offer.
One of my favorite parts was easily all of the delicious food <3
We will be back with more plans in mind and next time it's going to be even better!
So in love with New Orleans <3
If You thought I was joking when I mentioned the baby food let me just tell you that I have discovered that sometimes when mommy needs a cocktail and I have no car to get to the store. . . baby food can come in handy LOL! Now I will be honest and say that I prefer using all natural baby food when it comes to my littles but now that Kennedy is one we really don't use it anymore so the jars I have in my pantry have been there for a few weeks now. I saw that I had two jars of Beech-Nut just mango baby food. (you can purchase it here) and I knew I had rum in my pantry so it was time to break out the blender.
